The SubSonex Personal Jet is featured on the cover of the November 2019 issue of Kitplanes Magazine! The cover story, featuring SubSonex serial number JSX0021 built by Kitplanes Editor at Large Paul Dye, is the first installment of an 8-10 part series detailing the construction of his jet.
Incredibly, this series of articles spread-out over 8-10 months of Kitplanes Magazine issues will take more time to reach your mail box in its entirety than Paul’s SubSonex Personal Jet took to build! Paul reports finishing his kit in about 85 days and 425 hours (before paint).
The last two paragraphs of this first installment in Dye’s series includes some quotes that we just have to share:
“Once you have decided that you want the jet, it is hard to get it out of your mind — eventually, you’re going to succumb,” writes Dye. “…Don’t try to justify it—just do it!”
