Congratulations to McLaren Aerospace of Yonkers, New York whose SubSonex (S/N JSX0031) flew for the first time on July 11th! “The pilot was Paul Miles and the flight took place at Hampton Roads Executive Airport (KPVG),” writes Angus McLaren of McLaren Aerospace. “Everything went great and Paul reported it was a joy to fly. Very nimble and responsive.” McLaren Aerospace was founded by a group of students at Duchess Community College backed by the Forgotten Heroes Foundation. Foundation Founder and Chairman Raf Collado is a Reno race pilot in the Jet class and hopes to someday race the SubSonex at Reno. Gold Wings are on the way!
