A tremendous grass-roots network of builders’ groups and organizations have formed since Sonex’s founding in 1998. These builders’ groups provide invaluable camaraderie and peer support, while also hosting numerous fly-in events across the country and around the globe.

- June 28, 2025: First Annual Massachusetts Sonex Gathering:
If you’re considering building, currently building, or have completed your Sonex, stop at Plymouth Municipal Airport for lunch and some Sonex hanger talk. You could win a door prize! - July 23, 2025: Sonex Builders and Pilots Foundation AirVenture BBQ
An annual tradition, join other Sonex builders at “7th Heaven” on the east side of Wittman Field. This is an all-volunteer, self run event and sign-up is required to attend.
