I flew the first flight August 18. The plane flies amazingly well. It is very slippery and after flying a 150 for the last 5 years takes some getting used to, especially for landing. It is everything Sonex says it is and being my third experimental build I am pleased that it lives up to its press. I would like to thank all my EAA pilots and associates and Sonex for encouragement and support as anyone who has built an airplane knows it is a long and involved undertaking and can become a bit overwhelming at times but with a little determination and perserverance it can be done. This build only took 22 months counting 3 months in paint shop and at 76 years of age I think I have time for one more, maybe a one-X.
