Sonex 1517
Sonex 1517 took to the air on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at the Aurora IL airport after 4 1/2 years of building. The Turbo AeroVee ran smooth and strong and the flight was uneventful. To all the other builders out there, keep going! This is a moment worth all the effort you put into it.
Transition training made me feel ready for the flight and allowed me to relax and enjoy the moment. What a great airplane to fly!
