Sonex 1308

Ron made his first flight on March 11, 2011 from Wallace, NC., Henderson Airport (KACZ). I can attest to the flight as I was there to see the event - after lift off he climbed out over the airport and did the usual turns, climbs, descents, stalls and slow flight and then came back for landing. Ron's grin included his ear's and he said something like you think it and it does it. Ron is running a Jabiru 3300 with a Prince prop and has the acro aileron/flap combo. Needless to say, Ron asked me to tell you that he loves his airplane. Ron thanks all of you at Sonex for your continued support over the period it took to build and get her in the air and he especially thanks his wife Charmaine for allowing him to pursue and realize his dream. Yep, the color is Kawasaki green and that is Ron sitting in the airplane.
