Sonex 1306

On December 3, 2013 plans-built Sonex 1306 flew for the first time from the Pompano Beach Airpark, Florida (PMP)in the very nervous hands of builder and owner Clarence Dunkerley. Thankfully she flew as advertised and was a delight to takeoff and land. This completed a three year project by my brother, Don and me that was challenging, at times frustrating but mostly an interesting and fun time together.

Our thanks to the Sonex family for the excellent plans and support, especially beginning with the Sonex Builders Workshop, ongoing technical support and ending with the Joe Norris' transition training program. Joe -- N119CX flew and landed exactly as you demonstrated to this old pilot - Thanks.

A big thanks for the support of my wife, Linda and our family and friends.
