Original Builder Denis Wright comments - On Sunday, Dec 6, 2015 at 4:04 PM, Sonex SN 1153 took to the Carolina blue skys and all I can say is WHAT A RUSH! Plane and engine performed great. Transition training in October made the first flight less tense�.well maybe a little less tense. Thanks to Joe Norris and Bob Helm for all of the coaching from the right seat during my training in Oshkosh. A big thanks to my wife for lending the sometimes needed additional hands and for stitching up the upholstery. A special thanks to Rick Basco, Onex #087, for all of his help along the way and his patience with my ENGINEERING ANALYSIS. To all the builders out there, keep going. It will probably take longer than you think but the effort is well worth it.
