Sonex 1095
I am happy to report that my plans built Sonex #1095 flew for the first time on Saturday August 25. Mike Singleton (Sonex 465) was the test pilot. We had a crowd of over 20 peolple, including several Sonex and Onex builders, show up for the big event. My wife had a special cake made to commemerate my accomplishment. Mike reported that the airplane flew very well. Building my Sonex has been one of the most rewarding endeavors I have ever undertaken. An outstanding set of plans, great tech support, and a supportive Sonex community all contributed to the successful completion of this project. I'm looking forward to many hours of fun and adventure in this wonderful little airplane.
