Sonex 0879
Sonex serial number 879, N40SX, flew today for the first time. After
many years of flying my Baby Ace the Sonex felt like a high performance
sports car, smooth, powerful, and fast. Configuration is dual stick,
conventional gear, Jabiru 3300, and Stratomaster EFIS with analog
airspeed backup. Empty weight is 650 pounds. After 2800 hours of
enjoyable building over the last 7 years, this was a very special day.
