Scratch building. Tail done, Wing ribs and spar material done (have not got the caps yet). Aft fuselage done except T-Deck. Fwd fuselage sides cut. T-Deck done now, Fwd fuselage attached. Polishing as I go. More work gets done in the winter time.

Went with the nose gear because I was able to pick up the main gear at a discount. Also this will keep insurance easier.

Buttoning up the wings as soon as I finish polishing the skins. After that can rig them.

12/15/2014 - Moved to airport (GPH). Installed wings. Final details and rigging in progress. Estimated completion on 02/01/2015

Received airworthiness inspection on 4/11/2015, and first flight was the next morning when winds were calm. First flight was conducted by Shannon Knee and he said other than a left wing heaviness which disappeared when the flaps were deployed, and the need for a rudder trim tab, the aircraft performed without an issues. After 11 1/2 years of building from plans with 2 job changes and 2 moves, it was thrilling to see it take to the air. When my father was alive he always wanted to build a plane, so this first flight was dedicated to him.
