Yesterday - March 19th I took my Jabiru 2200a Powered tail wheel Sonex for its maiden flight. I was amazed at its performance on 80hp. I flew out of Ledgedale Airport (7G0) which is located a few miles west of Rochester NY. I climbed up to 2000 AGL and enjoyed an amazing view from my magic carpet. Forward visibility out the front was not an issue on landing. Total flight time was 22 minutes. This is the easiest tail wheeled aircraft I have flown.
