Onex ONX0140
I'm writing to report the first flight of Onex #0140 yesterday, Memorial Day 2015. Thanks for a quality kit and nice flying design. I chose the conventional gear version and built the AeroVee 2.1 with 7 to 1 compression. Can't decide if I like my rather gaudy paint scheme or am embarrassed of it, but do know checkerboards are lots of work! There's lots to love about my previous two projects (finished Glasair more than 20 years ago), but for now at least, the Onex is my favorite. At age 76 I wouldn't expect to be your oldest builder, but probably well over the average age!
