Onex ONX0137
Just flew first flight in ONX0137, N551X today. Build started 7 years ago with steady but infrequent building, was a hobby project.
Flight went well with airplane flight straight and true, very little need for pitch trim. Phase 1 flight testing now beginning. Some fine tuning required for EFIS slip/skid indicator and transmit side tone on MGL comm (none at the moment). Transmit and receive is near noise free which was a goal.
AeroVee engine, non turbo, Sonex hydraulic brakes, MGL Extreme EFIS, MGL V16 remote trans/comm, Uavionics ADSB, Garmin transponder, mount for iPhone/navigation, carbon monoxide detector. (Indicated 0 during first flight).
