SNB0027 made its first flight 2/3/24 from Buckeye Exec (9OA5). Took off and landed on 9OA5 in Hebron, Ohio behind the AeroVee turbo. I assembled this kit while furloughed from an airline during COVID. I first flew it today (February , 2023) from Bob White Airstrip in Apopka, FL. The plane flew very well with no negative characteristics, had plenty of power and the temperatures were good. Looking forward to the next 40 hours of flying.
Onex ONX0128
Long delayed first flight on Nov 29, 2022. Flew perfect with no trim or heavy wing issues. Build it by the plans and it will fly beautifully. Many thanks to Kerry and the entire Sonex staff for a great design and top notch support.

Building at KWHP. First Sonex project, but second project. Built 90% Vans RV-9A Tri Gear, Rotax, Modifications as required (i.e. toe brakes, nav lights, etc.) Simple Instrument panel.
