Sonex #1571, reg nr LN-SNX flew for the first time in Kristiansand, Norway on 27th December. It is standard gear, with a UL Power 350is engine which provides plenty of power. Handling is nice and crisp with aerobatic ailerons. It is built by Stig Kiil, Hans Otto Espegren, Rune Bjørkelid and Carl Jaeger.

First flight was May 17, 2024. Since then there have been several more flights to work out the cooling and trim issues. After relocating the the oil cooler and installing a side vent, all instruments are in the green at full throttle. Engine is a Rotax 912S with a Sensenich 84 X 62 propeller. The… Read More
