Scratch Building

Fuel Tank:

Scratch builders may purchase the standard rotationally molded polyethelyne fuel tank, which includes a snap-tite fuel cap. The roto-molded tank and snap-tite cap combination make the Sonex Aircraft fuel system one of the most durable and leak-proof systems available.

Sonex fuel tanks hold 16 gallons of fuel and the blonde coloring of the polyethelyne allows visual inspection of the fuel level.
