Fuel Tank:

The Sonex Waiex and Xenos feature a rotationally molded polyethelyne fuel tank, which includes a snap-tite fuel cap. The roto-molded tank and snap-tite cap combination make the Sonex Aircraft fuel system one of the most durable and leak-proof systems available.

Sonex fuel tanks hold 16 gallons of fuel and the blonde coloring of the polyethelyne allows visual inspection of the fuel level.

Those interested in scratch-building the Sonex may purchase the Sonex Fuel Tank and Fuel Cap without purchasing a complete aircraft kit. Note: Waiex and Xenos are only available as complete kits.
