Sonex Aircraft will be closed on Friday, February 3, 2012 for a Post-Workshop Holiday following the January 28-29, 2012 Sonex Builders' Workshop.

February 15, 2012 at 7pm CST: Onex Single-Place Aircraft Webinar

EAA is hosting a highly-successful program of Webinars (web based seminars) that feature expert presenters on a variety of aviation topics, and Sonex Aircraft has once again been invited to present! On Wednesday, February 15th at 7pm Central Time, Jeremy Monnett will present a Webinar about our new Onex single-place, folding-wing aircraft kit. The presentation will last approximately 1 hour, and will provide a full update on the Onex development's progress to-date, the progress of early Onex builders, and the advanced features of the Onex kit. The Onex has been an extremely popular new product from Sonex Aircraft, LLC and over 50 Onex kits have been shipped since late July, 2011.

Webinar presentations use slides and live audio from the presenter, and audience members can ask questions or be polled for their opinion in the webinar's interactive format. Space is limited, so Sign-Up Now!

Sonex Aircraft, LLC will once again be conducting informational forums at the 2012 Sun 'n Fun International Fly-In & Expo in Lakeland, FL. Although Sonex Aircraft will not have an official exhibitor presence at Sun 'n Fun, the following forums and events will be held:

Sonex Aircraft to Hold 50th Builder Workshop!

Sonex Aircraft, LLC will achieve a significant milestone in 2012, holding its 50th Sonex Builder Workshop on the weekend of January 28-29! This milestone comes in our 14th year of business, holding 3 to 4 workshops per year since 1998.

The Sonex Workshop, held at our factory in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, gives you the opportunity to meet the Sonex staff, learn about the history of the Sonex design and its philosophy, learn all of the ins and outs of Sonex construction, and gain confidence in your own abilities as you build a sample piece of the Sonex wing to take home with you. The Sonex Aircraft Workshop has proven to be an extremely valuable experience for our builders, saving them time, money and answering many frequently asked questions in the building process. Sonex Aircraft believes so strongly in the value of our Workshops that significant kit discount incentives are offered to those who attend. Winter, 2012 Workshop participants will receive a special treat: an opportunity to attend the EAA Chapter 252 annual banquet, held in the awe-inspiring EAA AirVenture Museum Eagle Hangar facility. Join Sonex Aircraft staff, builders and friends for our annual Hangar Party. For the fourth year, we are hosting the Hangar Party on Monday so that more Sonex and AeroConversions customers can attend! Sonex Aircraft, LLC and AeroConversions products will be conducting several Forums throughout the week. The Sonex Aircraft Open House Fly-In will be held the day before AirVenture begins, on Sunday, July 22, and our annual hangar party will be held on Monday, July 23 (see above).

December 22, 2012 - January 1, 2013: Sonex Holiday Shut-Down

Sonex Aircraft will be closed from Saturday, December 22, 2012 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013 to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays, and conduct our annual year-end inventory activities. All other business operations, including outbound shipping, will be suspended during this time. We will re-open on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
